Kingdom of Friends

The number one goal of ARISE Beirut is to grow a church that offers, not only worship services, but also ongoing discipleship and support. It’s about forming a culture of unity and friendship. Currently, ARISE Beirut holds worship services in Portuguese with English and Arabic translation available, but we are working towards planting English-speaking and Arabic-speaking church services within our overall ministry, so that people can gather and worship in their native tongue.

In order to achieve this huge goal, we need to develop a group who are united toward becoming active disciple-making disciples. For this reason, we launched new life groups in both English and Arabic, called “Kingdom of Friends”. The program is designed to grow people in their faith and then equip them with the knowledge and skills needed in order to confidently go out and do gospel outreach and hold Bible studies with the people they connect with through their personal evangelism. The groups were launched on November 1st and have been, not only fruitful, but also fun, as we form new friendships and bond together with a united goal to help lead people to Jesus and grow our church family.
