On March 2nd, our city and our country was, once again, thrown into war. Lebanon is now facing another humanitarian aid crisis as over 800,000 people have been displaced so far. The conflict continues to escalate, but our faith and reliance on God is only being made that much stronger.
As Christians, when the world is thrown into darkness, that is our time to shine. That is our time to bring the light and love of Jesus into the lives of those who experiencing hardships and hopelessness.
ARISE Beirut is prayerfully seeking ways in which we can partner with other organizations in order to help with the much needed humanitarian aid efforts, and, through God’s power, use this crisis as an opportunity to glorify God by sharing hope with those who are now homeless and forced to survive on the streets of Beirut.
When we see war and destruction all around us, it fixes our eyes on the promise of Christ’s soon return. That is where our hope lies, and that is what brings us strength.
Please pray for the people of Beirut and all of Lebanon. We ask for your prayers over our ministry as well; that we will be able to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those who are suffering during these difficult times.

“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God is this; to care for orphans and widows in their distress”, and “to be a light to those who sit in darkness.”
James 1:27, Luke 1:79
