On April 11 & 12, 2025, ARISE Beirut hosted an Easter-season gathering, entitled “Bow the Knee”, which focused on a reverent remembrance of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
The event was organized as a musical and worship experience, designed to draw hearts toward submission, worship, and reverence before God—symbolized by the act of “bowing the knee,” reflecting both cultural and biblical themes of surrender to God’s authority.
Over the course of two sessions on April 11 and April 12, around 360 people attended the event, creating vibrant and powerful times of praise, worship, and reflection. Attendees were engaged in heartfelt worship, inspiring music, and a message centered on hope, purpose, and spiritual renewal. The atmosphere was one of unity, devotion, and open response to God’s presence, with many participants expressing how the event helped them connect more deeply with their faith and draw closer to God.
Overall, Bow the Knee served as both an inviting worship celebration and a meaningful reminder of the call to humble ourselves before Christ—a theme that resonated deeply with the community gathered in Beirut.
