On 2 May, ARISE Beirut had a special dedication ceremony for our new community enrichment center, Empower Skills Center. The Empower staff and ARISE Beirut Director, Adriano Bueno, shared the vision and mission of Empower and a special prayer of blessing and dedication was prayed over the skills center and instructors.
No endeavor will prosper or bear fruit unless it is dedicated and surrendered to God, so this ceremony served as our way to collectively place every aspect of Empower Skills Center into the hands of God.
Through the faithful stewardship of our time and the financial resources that are being donated to help maintain the skills center, it is our prayer that Empower will serve, not only as a place where members of our community can develop new talents and skills, but will ultimately be a way in which the friendships we form grow into discipleship opportunities with eternal impact.
