We wanted to create something our youth do not often get: an evening that felt special and a little out of the ordinary. A lot of young people have formal clothes they rarely get the chance to wear, so Youth Gala Night gave them an occasion to dress up and enjoy a proper dinner together.
But the heart of the night was really about making people feel special and giving them a chance to connect in a different setting. We included a few activities that helped people move beyond their usual circles and actually get to know one another, along with a simple message that reminded us that God also meets us in moments of joy and celebration.
The night created a real sense of belonging and showed how meaningful community can also be built through simple, joyful moments.
